Below you will find all the information on the policies of this shop. Ultimately, communication is the best preventative and policy for anything and everything! Should you have any trouble with your order at all, please contact us immediately through the contact form so that we can assist you. We will do everything possible to help! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, let us know within 15 days. You may return the product to us for a refund or exchange.

RETURNS

Returns must not have stains, spills, or clear damage from customer. If your product arrived damaged, please let us know so that we may file a claim with our shipping service as many of our items have insurance on them.

RETURN PROCESS

To return an item, please use the contact form and let us know your reason for return.

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

REFUNDS

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process it. Please allow at least 3 days from the receipt of your item to process your return. Refunds may take time due to billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will contact you when your return and refund have been processed!

EXCEPTIONS

The following items cannot be returned [or exchanged] for hygiene purposes:
- Rugs
- Bath Mats

BLANKET Q&A

Are the blankets washable?

Yes. I personally wash the ones I use in a gentle bag on cold with unscented, natural detergent and haven’t had any issue. They have not shrunk or unraveled on me. To be very safe, I would recommend handwashing.

Do the colors bleed?

Normally, no. If the yarn is special ordered, it may. My normal yarn does not if you wash with like colors. If your blanket has a dark color mixed with a pure white or ivory, it could cause discoloration to the lighter colors. I have heard from clients that they use a color blocking method used in quilting to avoid discoloration, but I don’t personally know how to do that.

How big are they?

They are 40in by 60in for a throw size, which covers our full size bed nicely without hanging off the sides. I also make baby blankets which are slightly smaller and twin size, which are 43in by 75in. I can make any size!

I have scent sensitivities/multiple chemical sensitivities/MCAD! Do they smell?

The speciality yarn does. The regular yarn I use usually doesn’t. In the event it does, I have washed it here at home in the unscented detergent and successfully removed the scent. If you are scent sensitive and would like your yarn prewashed, please let me know and I am happy to do that! I use 7th generation unscented laundry detergent.

I don’t like the look of the blankets with holes, can you do tighter sewn blankets?

Yes! I offer both loose knit and tight knit options. tight knit may cost slightly more for the same size since it is compacted. It requires more yarn to complete.
